Three Generations. One Commitment to Prattville. Gillespie Tire & Automotive Service has been part of the Prattville community since 1955. Billy Gillespie started the business as a country store and service station on the County Highway 14 Bypass. Tire sales were added in 1956, and in 1964 Gillespie moved to the downtown Prattville location at 132 Tichnor Avenue that remains our home today. Billy's son, Bill Jr., grew up in the business and took over in 1983. When Bill Jr. was elected mayor of Prattville in 2011, the next generation stepped forward as his son, Bobby, took the reins. Bobby's sister, Kendall, joined the business in 2020, continuing a family tradition that now spans three generations. A lot has changed since 1955. What hasn't changed is our commitment to taking care of our customers and our community.
